…the prodigal returns

Back where we came from, reluctant returnees.

Lujo face serums

We have spent almost all day doing Lujos “things”. Luckily, this is a very varied task, as there are many things involved in the process!

For example, today I was packaging up as many orders as I could, to take with next week when we go visit our daughter. (free postage for UK orders, an easy way to do it!) I’ve made some of the products, but not all – we like them to be very fresh when the customer gets them!

Part of the packaging involves labels, of course. Product labels and ingredient labels, all with very specific requirements. That is Kenton’s job, I’m happy to say! Not only does he hold the photos, he also is a whiz with Photoshop layout. It’s never as easy as it should be – the distance between each label seems to vary in width ever so slightly. Every printer interprets the template in a slightly different way. It drives him mad. But it’s done, and they look fab!

I also like to think of little thank-you gifts that I can include with orders. This time, one of the gifts was our new face serum for dry skin, called “Face soother”. It comes in a sweet little 10 ml amber dropper bottle, so that you can dispense the precious fluid drop by drop. We sell the serums in small bottles, at a small price, so that customers can feel free to use it to ‘feed’ their needy skin! I’ve been using the very same serum for the past 2 months and it really does give the skin a wonderful, smooth, silky feel.

Kenton designed a new label just for the serums – I think it’s great! Looks very clean and pure.
