One thing we have found since moving to Casa Tyr is that we are almost never sick. We have not been to see a doctor in almost 7 years, and aside from a tummy bug brought back from Morocco, we just stay healthy.
Part of this, of course, is due to the fact that we have a healthy lifestyle, with fresh air, clean water, and hard work. It’s good for you!
But partly it is because we are not around people very much! Yes, we go into town, and out for a beer etc, but we’re just not around people for very long, or even very frequently, for that matter.
Until recently, that is. We have had to travel to the coast much more frequently recently, as we were doing some paid photography/videography work for a blues guitarist. Going to the coast means more people. Means the air is more polluted. Means more time in smoky bars.
The result? GERMS have made their evil way up our mountain! Kenton woke up with a fever, and now has an horrendous head cold. I’m sure I’m next on the list – that’s the way these things go! Yikes.
