…the prodigal returns

Back where we came from, reluctant returnees.

A fab concert by Jazztease

I mentioned going to see Jazztease last night. Well, believe it or not, we actually DID leave the village to hear them! A miracle!

The concert was held at one of the stores in the nearest shopping mall, in Marbella. About an hour’s drive. It was totally free, even!

They had a good audience, and did not fail to please. There are 3 of them in the group – Ana on vocals, Nacho on piano (he’s the chap from Yunquera) and Adrian on sax and flute.

They are not afraid to tackle the hard stuff, either. It takes incredible nerve to sing Aretha Franklin and Billie Holiday songs, but Ana takes them all on with panache and style! Adrian and Nacho complement her singing perfectly.

Go to their myspace page and have a listen – http://www.myspace.com/jazztease.
