The lack of soap making

Come on, get with it and make some soap! The fans are calling for it!

Despite my fear of lye, the soap end result is worth it! Mild, creamy, good lather, smells great. Daughter Peggy is baying for more! LOL.

  1. I make soap, castile and palmolive. Both are very good soft body soaps. How do local people get it so rough and hard?

    • I make castile only, plus shower gels etc. I think the local soap is olive oil + lye, with perhaps the lye not really fully saponified. Olive oil soap should not be rough, but they do seem to manage it, don’t they?
